What is a domain name?
A domain name is an Internet
address (example yourname.com): it is similar to
a customized license plate or a permanent phone
number or address. A domain name also allows you
to receive e-mail at a customized e-mail address.
If your organization's name is YOURNAME, Inc.,
you could register the domain name YOURNAME.COM and
your e-mail address could be "anything@yourname.com".
Your customers would also be able to access your
organization's web site by visiting "www.yourname.com"
with their web browser. These are just a few of
the most common uses for a domain name.

What is E-Commerce?
The conducting of business communication and
transactions over networks and through computers.
As most restrictively defined, electronic
commerce is the buying and selling of goods and
services, and the transfer of funds, through
digital communications.

Does your service have
any hidden fees?
We do not have any hidden fees. The price
established after our consultation will be the
final price unless you choose to add more at a
later time.

Do you submit my site to
all the major search engines?
Yes we do! We first make sure that your site
is in "tip-top" shape and insert all of
the proper meta tags. Next we will use a Search
Engine Submiter such as Submit-It,
a service that submits your site to all of the
most popular search engines to guarentee that
your business wil be seen.

What are meta
tags?
Search engines such as WebCrawler, Alta-Vista,
Lycos, and hundreds of others are now
automatically indexing your site when you
register with them, scanning your Meta Tags for
information about your site. Meta Tags look like
this: <meta name="KEYWORD" content="buy,
shopping, retail, mall">. Information
that can be presented to search engines via Meta
tags include relevant keywords, web site
description, copyright information, author
information, your guidelines for 'robot' behavior,
and more. Meta Tags are one of the most important
components of your web site, even though humans
rarely see them (meta tags are embedded in the
HTML of a web page). Only the search engine
robots, sent out across the Internet to index web
sites and rank them, ever see Meta Tags.
However, proper Meta Tagging can have dramatic
influence on where your site is ranked on a
search engine. Sites that lack properly formatted
and optimized Meta Tags are often ranked
very low by search engines, leading to your site
not receiving the traffic it deserves. Worse,
many search engines are now considering not
accepting new web sites at all if they lack Meta
Tags!

What is CGI?
The Common Gateway Interface (CGI) is
currently the primary tool on the world wide web
for creating dialogic websites. CGI facilitates
the web server communicating with other programs
on said server. The Web server, using CGI, can
get input from a remote user and proceed to call
up a program elsewhere on the server running on
those parameters. It's a very popular way to make
websites interactive, and to generate webpages on-the-fly,
among other things. Search engines use CGI, as do
many online tools.

What is Java/JavaScript?
JavaScript is a compact, object-based
scripting language for developing client and
server Internet applications.
The JavaScript language resembles Java, but
without Java's static typing and strong type
checking. JavaScript supports most of Java's
expression syntax and basic control flow
constructs. In contrast to Java's compile-time
system of classes built by declarations,
JavaScript supports a run-time system based on a
small number of data types representing numeric,
Boolean, and string values. JavaScript has a
simple instance-based object model that still
provides significant capabilities.

Whats is FLASH?
Flash is the standard for interactive vector
graphics and animation on the Web. This new
format allows fast loading dynamic graphic
animations which mark a new era in interactive
web content. Taking these factors into
consideration, and the fact that flash is capable
of playing synchronized streaming audio during
play, you may want to Flash your web site very
soon.
